Meet our Doctors
Harold
N. Hollander, DO.
Dr. Harold N. Hollander was born in Morristown, New Jersey but grew up in Upland, California. He is a graduate of the University of California at Irvine where he was awarded University Honors in Biological Sciences Research. He also completed an informal minor degree in Trumpet Performance.
After graduation Dr. Hollander received his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific where he again graduated with honors and received a Teaching Fellowship in Osteopathic Principles and Practice. He served his internship at Mount Clemens General Hospital in Mount Clemens, Michigan and then moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan to complete his Otolaryngology Residency at Metropolitan Hospital. He has been in private practice since July of 1994. Currently, Dr. Hollander is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and is the Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Residency Director at Metropolitan Hospital. Interests include ice hockey, tennis, music, traveling and medical education.
Jeanne M. Eyde, DO.
Dr. Jeanne M. Eyde was born in Rochester Hills, Michigan and has lived in the suburbs of Detroit for most of her life. She received her undergraduate degree in General Biology at the University of Michigan. After graduation she switched from a Wolverine to a Spartan and received her Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Michigan State University in 1988. Dr. Eyde completed her Internship and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Residency at Metropolitan Hospital.
She and her husband David have two children. Being a mother adds insights especially valuable for pediatric and family care. Dr. Eyde enjoys Otolaryngology since it gives her the opportunity to help patients of all ages.
Interests include: rollerblading, reading and travel and medical education.
